Fence 1. Paint with White Cloud. Float shadows with Shadow Tan. 2. Spatter with Williamsburg Blue. Apply line-work with Black. Pitcher 1. Stain with Heavenly Grey. 2. Add checks with Tomato Red and Buttermilk. 3. Float shadows with thinned Black. Float highlights with White Cloud. 4. Apply line-work and lettering with Black. 5. Add decorative rag ribbon for a bow. Attach wire to the pitcher spout and handle. Later this will be attached to the birdhouse roof. Birdhouse 1. Apply Decorating Paste to the roof with a palette knife. Refer to jar for instructions. Allow to dry. 2. Paint the top front of the birdhouse Buttermilk. Allow to dry. 3. Add checks with Tomato Red, float shadows with thinned Burnt Umber. 4. Paint the rest of the birdhouse with Deep Midnight Blue. Paint the pegs Tomato Red. 5. Paint the base Hauser Dark Green. Paint the roof Raw Sienna. 6. Apply line-work with Black. Spatter entire birdhouse with Williamsburg Blue. Apples 1. Paint whole apples and the top and bottom of the cut apple with Tomato Red. 2. Paint the center of the cut apple with Buttermilk. 3. Paint all leaves Hauser Dark Green. Float around the edges of leaves with Jade Green. Paint the stems Burnt Umber. 4. Add checks to the center of the cut apple with thinned Burnt Umber. 5. Float shadows with Burnt Umber. Float around the edges of the apples with Dusty Rose. Add highlights with White. 6. Apply all line-work with Black. Spatter apples, leaves and stems with Williamsburg Blue. Terra Cotta Pot 1. Paint the rim and drip tray Deep Midnight Blue. 2. Paint the center Buttermilk. Allow to dry. 3. Transfer pattern. 4. Paint the apples following the instructions above. Paint the seed and highlight using Burnt Sienna. Finishing Instructions 1. Using a hammer and nail make a small hole in one of the whole apples and the cut apple. String wire through holes and attach to the fence. Curl the ends of the wire by wrapping around a pencil. Glue an apple and the fence to the front of the birdhouse as shown. 2. Attach the pitcher to the roof of the birdhouse using wire and hot glue. 3. Spray entire surface using Matte Sealer. 4. Add rag bows as shown. |
