Victorian Tray
Materials Needed:
1/2” flat brush
Ribbon
Tissue paper (floral, rose, or love themes): Gift wrap, floral cutouts, paper
lace doily
Tray, papier-mâché or wood
Wood balls: 1-1/2”, (4) legs
Instructions:
For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.
1. | Using Tacky Glue, glue the wood balls to the bottom of the tray for the legs. Let dry. Using 1/2” brush, paint the entire surface of the tray and legs with Gold acrylic paint. |
2. | Tear or cut out desired motifs from tissue paper, wrapping paper, or floral cutouts. Working in one small area at a time, use a clean brush to apply an even coat of Instant Decoupage. Place the design into the glue. Cover the design with a second coat of glue. Let dry. Continue this process until the entire tray is covered. Apply one final coat of Instant Decoupage Glue. Let dry. |
3. | Tie ribbon bows on each handle. |
