  Please read over all instructions before starting.

SUPPLIES:

  • 1 - 1/4" Ball Ornament #CR403
  • 1 - Large Letter "S" #LLS
  • 1 - Large Letter "W" #LLW
  • 1 - 2" x 1/4" Square #WN882
  • 4 - 3/8" Steel Nails #HR99
  • 22 Gauge Rusty Wire #MS191
  • Tiny Rusty Jingle Bells (optional)

PAINT LIST:

  • Black (Ceramcoat #2506),
  • Chocolate Cherry (Ceramcoat #2538),
  • Burnt Orange (Americana #7016),
  • Desert Sand (Americana #7077),
  • Rookwood Red (Americana #7097),
  • Walnut Gel Stain (DecoArt #DS029).

TOOLS:

  • Wire cutters
  • Drill (we suggest using the Zona Mini Hand Drill #RS120 and the #DB19A bit for 19 gauge wire)
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue
  • Paint brushes
  • Waterproof felt tip pen (we suggest Pigma Pens).

HOW TO:

1) Americana Rookwood Red: Basecoat "S".

2) Ceramcoat Chocolate Cherry: Basecoat Square.

3) Americana Desert Sand: Basecoat Circle.

4) Americana Black Green: Basecoat "W".

5) For a primitive look lightly sand the edges of all pieces.

6) Ceramcoat Black: Paint coal for the snowman's eyes and mouth.

7) Burnt Orange: Paint the snowman's nose.

8) Antique all pieces with a mixture of water and DecoArt Walnut Gel Stain.

9) Apply a matte varnish to all pieces.

10) Powder blush: apply to cheeks with a Q-Tip.

11) Fine Pigma Pen: Outline eyes, nose and mouth.

12) Hammer steel nails into each corner of the square. Twist 22 gauge rusty wire around nails to form the letter "N".

13) Drill small holes in the top and bottom of the square and letter "S". Drill small holes in the top of the circle and letter "W".

14) Attach all pieces together by inserting 22 gauge wire through the objects and twisting the ends together. The twig (approximately 4") is attached between the square and circle with wire. Cut off any extra wire.

15) Attach tiny Rusty Jingle Bells if desired.

16) Americana Desert Sand: Using a toothbrush spatter letter "S", square and letter "W".

17) Ceramcoat White: Using a toothbrush spatter circle.

18) Ceramcoat Black: Using a toothbrush lightly spatter all pieces.

19) With a scrap of fabric make a bow and attach to the bottom of circle with hot glue.
