1. Apply Driftwood to design
area of plates. 2. Spatter with Graphite, Black Green, Golden Straw and Milk Chocolate. 3. Use 10/0 Liner to add tiny flecks of Golden Straw and Graphite. 4. Apply Green Mist to rims. Spatter lightly with Antique Teal and Black Green. 5. Apply patterns. 6. Add stroke work around rims using Antique Teal and 10/0 Liner. 7. Apply a wash of Milk Chocolate to terra cotta pot on topiary plate. 8. Cornerload shader brush with Black Green to shade pot. Slightly thin some Golden Straw and apply a stroke down middle of pot and rim to highlight, using the round brush. 9. Spatter center of pot with Green Mist to give it a “patina.” Further highlight with tiny strokes of Golden Straw and Eggshell. 10. Shade inside of pot with a wash of Black Green. 11. Add main heart-shaped topiary structure with slightly thinned Milk chocolate. Shade with a few strokes of Graphite. Highlight stem Golden Straw. Outline pot with Black Green. 12. On watering can plate, apply a wash of Milk Chocolate to watering can. Shade with cornerloaded Black Green. 13. Apply a thin wash of Graphite to inner part of handles and a wash of Black Green to inside of can. Highlight center with a thin stroke of Golden Straw, using the round brush. 14. Further highlight watering can, referring to photo, with strokes of Golden Straw and Eggshell. 15. Spatter center of watering can with Green Mist and Eggshell to give it a “patina.” Outline watering can with Black Green. 16. Add vines, tendrils with Antique Teal. Leaves are Green Mist outlined with Antique Teal. Add berries and hearts with slightly thinned Napa Red. 17. Highlight berries with tiny dots of Eggshell. Add a stroke of Golden Straw to hearts. 18. Spray with Matt Sealer. |
