Wash all pieces with a mix of
2 Tbsp. of vinegar to 1/2 cup of water. Dry thoroughly. Follow the
directions on the Ultra Gloss bottle. Heat setting may be done by placing
the pieces in the dishwasher on dry cycle only. Casserole and Crock 1. Use the seawool sponge and lightly sponge on Navy Blue as desired. 2. Transfer pattern. 3. Mix 3 parts Cadmium Yellow to 1 part Christmas Green. Double-load this mix with Hunter Green and stroke all of the leaves on both pieces. 4. Flowers on Casserole Dish: Double-load Cadmium Yellow and Sable Brown and stroke on the flower petals. Stipple the centers with White tipped in Navy Blue. 5. Flowers on Utensil Holder: Double-load White and Cadmium Yellow and stroke the flower petals on the crock. Float Sable Brown shadows. Stipple the centers in Sable Brown tipped in White. Float the shadows with Navy Blue. 6. Do all liner-work on both pieces with Black. Do the accent dots in Black or White plus a touch of Cadmium Yellow. Salt and Pepper Shakers Cut a check from compressed sponge and apply Navy blue to the salt and pepper shakers. Dot Cadmium Yellow. Double-load Cadmium Yellow and Sable Brown and do the band around the top of the checks. For added durability, use Clear Medium over painted designs. Pot Holder Mitt Stroke the flowers in a double-load of Cadmium Yellow tipped in White. Stipple the centers in Dk. Chocolate tipped in White. Stroke the leaves and do the stems in a double-load of Avocado tipped in Cadmium Yellow. Do the accent dots in a mix of White plus a touch of Cadmium Yellow. Do all liner-work in Black. NOTE: Do not bake with painted casserole. Painted cookware is for decorative purposes only. |
