Heart Shaped Fabric Wreaths

Cut any medium weight fabric into three inch squares with pinking shears to create a zig-zag edge. Purchase non-stretch fabric or use old shirts, blouses, etc.
Purchase a straw or foam heart shaped wreath. And, get your clear glue ready.

Make a simple ribbon bow to place on your completed wreath.
Place the blunt end of any narrow paint brush in the center of the square. Now, push the fabric onto the stick and twist the fabric on the end only. Place glue on the half-inch twisted portion...

While still holding the twist tightly... push the gluey end into the wreath a half an inch. Hold the fabric while removing the stick with a light twist.
Stagger the fabric twists at least an inch apart, and alternate multiple colors. Try various fabrics for special effects. For example, black or dark satins create a sensual effect.
