Hanging Hearts

Instructions:

Cut 3 hearts out of pine using the heart pattern. Drill a 1/4-inch hole starting in the hearts indendation and coming out the bottom point. Sand the hearts and wipe with a tack cloth.

Paint the hearts with rose paint. Allow to dry.

Take about 10 strands of raffia and cut to 32 inches long. Fold raffia in the center. Put the end of the crochet hook down through the hole in the heart and hook it to the fold in the raffia. Pull the raffia up through the heart. Repeat with remaining two hearts. Adjust the hearts so they are evenly spaced with about 3 1/2 inches of raffia on the top and bottom.

Take about 10 strands of raffia and cut two pieces 12 inches long. Tie each piece into a bow. With the hot glue gun, glue one bow above the top heart and one below the bottom heart.

Cut a bunch of babys breath about 1 inch below th heads. Glue onto heart. Cut another bunch in the same manner and glue to the same heart in the opposite direction. Repeat with remaining hearts.

Cut the white ribbon into three 12 inch pieces. Make into bows. Glue a bow into the center of each heart.

Cut the stems from each rose bud just below the leaves. Glue a rose bud to the center of each ribbon.
