Gardening Girl Doll

Gardening girl doll is very huggable and easy to make. You may add miniature gardening tools found at local craft supply stores for an added effect.

 

Instructions: Note - 1/4 inch seam allowance on all pattern pieces.

1. Cut pattern pieces ( at bottom of page )

2. Sew face to body front. 

3. Glue 2 felt feet together to form each foot.

4. Draw facial features or cut from felt and glue in place.

5. Cut twelve 5 - inch strands of bright yellow yarn for hair and attach across top of head. Braiding of hair is optional.

6. Attach feet to front body piece.

7. With right sides facing, sew around doll, leaving an opening on one side for stuffing.

8. Clip, turn and stuff with cotton or foam. Close opening.

9. Tack hair at X's and braid.

10. Sew bonnet brim to back and tack or glue to doll's head.

11. Trim front of doll with bits of lace, rick-rack, buttons or other trim. You may add miniature gardening tools found at local craft supply stores.
