Trace pattern on WOOD. Cut out . (What I did was cut it all out in one piece, then cut off the shoes. A lot easier.) Drill holes as marked on the pattern.
Sand wood.
Trace all necessary lines onto wood using TRACING PAPER.
BASE
1. AC Flesh for head.
2. CHARCOAL for shoes.
3. ANTIQUE WHITE for dress arms.
4. BLUEBERRY (or any color of your choice) for dress.
DETAILS
1. Dot eyes on with charcoal. When dried place a tinier white dot in the center of the black dot.
2. Mix a tiny amount of ANTIQUE ROSE with water and dab a small amount for the cheeks.
3. Paint mouth on with red paint or use a RED PIGMA MICRON MARKER.
4. Trace the wording and then paint with ANTIQUE WHITE.
5. Place stitching all around the dress with a BLACK PIGMA MICRON MARKER and add two wee eyelashes on the sides of each eye.
6. Spray with ACRYLIC SEALER.
FINISHING TOUCHES
1. Using SPANISH MOSS, add hair.
2. Cut a strip of coordinating FABRIC about 12 inches long X 1 inch wide. I used PINKING SHEARS. It gave it a better look, I think. Make a bow with it. You may have to trim off the pieces. You don't want them really long. Glue to top of head using HOT GLUE GUN and GLUE STICKS.
3. Cut the back off a button using NEEDLE-NOSED PLIERS and then glue it to doll's dress. I don't use hot glue for this because I find it doesn't stick as well. I use TACKY CRAFTER'S GLUE. Let dry.
4. Last ,add the WIRE. Cut one piece about 14 inches long and place through the arm holes. Line up the wire and then with a pair of needle-nosed pliers nip the tip of the wire and twist it around the tip of the pliers. Do this for both arms.
5. Cut two pieces about 3 inches long and do the same for the legs.
