Instructions

HELPFUL HINT:Easy-Cling stencils perform best if they are cleaned as soon as they are used. Place used stencil into shallow container of DecoArt Stencil & Brush cleaner and clean immediately. Dry thoroughly with paper towel and then continue to use.

1. Clean all glassware with rubbing alcohol or white vinegar. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towels.

2. LARGE PLATE: Position Ivy Medley Border stencil to the underside of the rim. Dip pouncer into Bronze and True Gold. Dab several times on a paper towel until almost dry. Pounce lightly over stencil leaves. Dip another pouncer into Cranberry and dab over the Bronze and True Gold. Let dry. Next, use synthetic sponge to dab all colors simultaneously around edge of plate. It will create a mottled effect. Let dry.

3. SMALL PLATE: Position Ivy Medley stencil to the center of underside of plate. Repeat the process described for the large plate. After it is dry, use pointed tip of pouncer to etch leaf veins. Pounce more Bronze and Gold Pearl over veins. Use synthetic sponge to dab all colors simultaneously around edge of plate. It creates the mottled effect. Let dry.

4. GOBLET: Position Ivy Medley stencil around center of goblet. Use pouncer to apply Cranberry, then the Bronze and Gold leaves. Use soft synthetic sponge to dab all colors simultaneously around base and stem of goblet. Let dry.

5. NAPKIN RING: Position Ivy Medley border stencil around napkin ring. Use pouncer to apply paints in the same manner described for goblet. Sponge colors on edges of ring in the same manner described earlier.

6. CANDLE/POTPOURRI CANISTER: Position Ivy Medley border stencil and paint in the same manner described for goblet and napkin ring. Allow to dry. Remove plastic lid and fill the top with a color coordinated potpourri.

7. PLACEMAT: Position Ivy Medley border stencil on edges of placemat. Use pouncer to apply paints in the same manner as described earlier. Allow to dry.

NOTE: When using Ultra Gloss paints, it is important that brushes are clean and dry. There must not be any residue of cleaning solvent in the bristles. Rinse well in clean water.
