COUNTRY CLOTH WREATH
Materials needed:
1¼ total yards - ¼ yard of 5 differently colored cotton
fabrics. Colors should be coordinated and one vivid color adds a great touch.
1 fabric length to make a cloth bow.
10" foam wreath
Elmer's glue
Small screw driver or very dull nail
Milk bottle cap
Pinking shears
Preparation:
Cut fabric into 2" squares (each wreath takes 440 squares)
with pinking shears.
Slice foam wreath in half with serrated knife to make 2 wreaths. You get two for
the price of one this way!
Instructions:
Pour glue into a bottle cap.
Place screw driver or nail into center of right side of 1 fabric square.
Dip wrong side of fabric into glue pot.
Stick fabric with glue on the wrong side and nail still pressed in right side
into the foam wreath.
Cover entire wreath on sides and front with squares.
Place squares very close together.
Finish wreath with a fabric bow.
