| PREPARATION Clean candle with alcohol and paper towels. Clean glass with warm soapy water and 1:1 vinegar/water rinse. PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS Note: It’s important to work on a flat surface to avoid drips. 1. Remove protective coating from Styrene Painting Blank and place patterns under blanks, dividing mirror pattern into segments. (Make enough duplicates of candle and bowl patterns to circle surfaces.) 2. Apply leading paint over pattern outlines. Let leading dry 1 to 2 hours. Bowls & Candle Holding bottle tip slightly above surface and moving side to side, fill with paint as follows: Poinsettias: petals Primary Red, centers Primary Yellow, center petals Primary Red, outer petals Christmas Red. Holly Leaves: one side Lemon Lime, other side Leaf Green. Holly Berries: Christmas Red. Ribbon: Gold Pearl Mirror 1. Holding bottle tip slightly above surface and moving side to side, fill with paint as follows: Ribbon: Partially fill with Root Beer Brown. While wet, squeeze dots of Gold Pearl on Root Beer Brown. Use toothpick or tip of bottle to pull Gold Pearl through Root Beer Brown. Holly and Berries: Use the same colors as for bowls and candle. 2. Let dry 24 hours or until clear. 3. Gently peel designs and press onto clean glass surface. |
