1. Sand, wipe with tack cloth,
apply Wood Sealer, sand again. (For a primitive look, once painting and
detailing are done, sand again before assembling.) 2. Stain bunny with Heavenly Grey Heavenly Hues. Float shadows with a mix of 1 part heavenly Grey to 1 part Lamp Black. Stipple highlights with Titanium White. 3. Chalk the cheeks and insides of ears. Do liner-work and facial features with Black. Flowers Transfer pattern as needed for details. 1. Blue flowers: Paint with a mix of 2 parts White to 1 part Uniform Blue. Float shadow from centers out with Uniform Blue. Float highlights with White. Centers are dots of True Ochre. 2. Pink Flowers: Paint in a mix of 1 part White to 2 parts Gooseberry Pink. Float shadows Gooseberry Pink plus a touch of Country Red. Float highlights with White. Stipple centers with Dark Chocolate and True Ochre. 3. Tulips: Paint red ones in 2 parts Country Red to 1 part Gooseberry Pink. Float shadows with Country Red. Do tole strokes and dots in White. 4. Paint yellow tulips in 2 parts White to 1 part True Ochre. Float shadows with True Ochre. Do tole strokes and dots in White. 5. Stems: Paint Forest Green. 6. Do liner-work in Black. Finishing Instructions Spray with Matte Spray Sealer. Assemble according to photo, gluing on fabric bows, buttons, etc |
