Instructions
 
PREPARATION
1. Sand, tack and seal with Multi-Purpose Sealer bunny and ears only on wheelbarrow, and sides and knob of tissue holder.

2. On wheelbarrow, apply a wash of Buttermilk to bunny; stipple ears with Light Buttermilk. On tissue holder, apply a wash of Light Buttermilk to areas sealed.

3. On wheelbarrow, side load 3/4" brush with Uniform Blue. Starting at top of bunny, float Uniform Blue down toward fence.

4. Side load 3/4" brush with Arbor Green. Starting at bottom of bunny, float Arbor Green up toward sky.

5. Sand, tack and apply Gel Stain to wheel, legs, bottom and two end pieces of wheelbarrow, and top of tissue holder.

6. Transfer patterns to each piece.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: After completing each section, do line work as needed. All line work is done with #0 liner and Lamp Black, unless specified otherwise.

Wheelbarrow
Birdhouses
1. Basecoat posts, platforms and barrel with a wash of Sable Brown. Shade with Asphaltum. Do liner work and wood grain with Lamp Black.

2. Paint all chimneys Lamp Black.

3. Basecoat white sections of houses with wash of Light Buttermilk; shade Sable Brown.

4. Heart on the middle house is Brandy Wine.

5. Shade openings on the two side houses with Uniform Blue.

6. The flower centers on the two side houses are a dot of Honey Brown. The petals are dots of Light Buttermilk. The leaves are Arbor Green.

7. Basecoat roofs with Uniform Blue; shade Deep Midnight Blue; highlight French Grey Blue. Outline scalloped trim on roof on middle house with Brandy Wine. Dots are Light Buttermilk.

8. Perches are dots of Sable Brown.

9. Basecoat stone section of middle house with wash of black. Basecoat stones with wash of Slate Grey; shade black; highlight Light Buttermilk.

Vines and Leaves
With liner, apply vine with Arbor Green. Paint leaves with wash of Arbor Green; shade Antique Teal.

Fence
1. Basecoat fence with Light Buttermilk; shade with Toffee.

2. Basecoat hinges and latch with black; highlight and add dots of French Grey Blue for nails.

3. Paint hearts with Brandy Wine. Dots are Light Buttermilk.

Bunny’s Eye
1. Basecoat white section with Light Buttermilk; shade Sable Brown.

2. Float cheek with Brandy Wine. Dot is Light Buttermilk.

3. Basecoat iris with Uniform Blue; shade Deep Midnight Blue; highlight French Grey Blue. Line eye and eyelashes with black. Add a dot of Light Buttermilk to the iris.

Bear
1. Basecoat with a wash of Sable Brown; shade Milk Chocolate; stipple highlights with Toffee.

2. Float cheeks and inside ears with Brandy Wine. Add Light Buttermilk dot to each cheek.

3. Eyes and nose are dots of black. Add black line below nose and Light Buttermilk dot to each eye.

4. Use liner to add ribbon and dot for knot with Brandy Wine.

Bird
1. Basecoat with Uniform Blue; shade Deep Midnight Blue; highlight French Grey Blue.

2. Add line work and eye with black. Add Light Buttermilk dot in eye.

3. Paint the beak with Honey Brown.

Bushes
1. Stipple with Arbor Green and again with Antique Teal.

2. Stipple flowers with Brandy Wine. While paint is still wet, stipple again with Light Buttermilk; add random dots of Light Buttermilk.

Wheel
1. Refer to birdhouse instructions for painting flowers and hearts and vine instructions for leaves.

2. Add random dots of Brandy Wine and French Grey Blue.

Toilet Tissue Cover
Birdhouses
1. Basecoat posts, platforms, archway and outhouse with a pale wash of Asphaltum; shade with Asphaltum. Add liner work and wood grain with black.

2. Paint moon, hinges, doorknob and chimneys black.

3. Shade white sections of houses with Camel.

4. Basecoat heart on house on right with wash of Gooseberry Pink; shade with Rookwood Red.

5. Shade openings on two houses on left with Asphaltum.

6. Basecoat roof with pale wash of Uniform Blue; shade Uniform Blue.

7. Perches are dots of Milk Chocolate.

8. Basecoat stone section and stones on house on right with wash of Slate Grey. Shade stones black; highlight Light Buttermilk.

Vine and Leaves
1. Use liner to paint vine black.

2. Basecoat leaves with pale wash of Arbor Green; shade Antique Teal.

3. Add random dots of Rookwood Red and Light Buttermilk throughout vine.

Bear
1. Basecoat with a pale wash of Milk Chocolate; shade Milk Chocolate.

2. Float cheeks with Rookwood Red; add Light Buttermilk dot to each cheek.

3. Eyes and nose are dots of black with Light Buttermilk dots.

4. Use liner to add ribbon and dot for knot with Rookwood Red.

Bird
1. Basecoat with a pale wash of Uniform Blue; shade Uniform Blue.

2. Eye is dot of black with Light Buttermilk dot. Beak is Camel.

Bushes
1. Follow wheelbarrow instructions for bushes, substituting Rookwood Red for Brandy Wine.

2. Add random dots of Light Buttermilk.

FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
Apply Satin Varnish to both pieces.
