Product Note
Patio Paint is a self-sealing exterior paint. No prior preparation is needed when working on wood. For other surfaces, follow directions on label. Patio Paint may be used on all porous surfaces such as concrete, terra cotta, wood, plaster, etc. Because of the self-sealing agents, the paint does not require a varnish upon completion.

Transferring a Pattern
Lay tracing paper over pattern and draw the basic lines. Lay this tracing on the surface to be painted. Slip graphite paper between the tracing and the surface. Tape to secure. Trace with a pencil to transfer the design. Do not trace details until after basecoating has dried.

Instructions
1. Pour puddle of Chive Green and Sprout Green in plate. Dip synthetic sponge in both greens. Pounce a few times to blend. Sponge 6" saucer, 6" pot rim and 4" pot base. Let dry.

2. Use #12 brush to paint 6" pot base, 4" pot rim and 4" saucer with Buttercup Yellow. Let dry.

3. Transfer pansy, leaf and bee patterns as desired on yellow areas.

4. Use #8 flat brush to paint pansies with Petunia Purple and Cloud White; leaves Chive Green with Sprout Green shading; bees Fiesta Yellow and Wrought Iron Black, and pansy centers Fiesta Yellow.

5. Use liner to outline flowers, leaves and bees with Wrought Iron Black.

6. Use liner to pull Pansy Purple lines from flower center onto petals.

7. Use handle tip of #8 brush to dot Cloud White randomly on green areas.
