Alphabet Stool
Instructions:
For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.
| 1. | Using 5/8" flat brush, apply All-Purpose Primer to stool. Sand. |
| 2. | Using sponge applicator, apply Ivory to top of stool. |
| 3. | Using 5/8" flat brush, paint edge of stool True Red. Paint legs, starting at the top section and working down, True Blue, Black, True Green, Black and True Red. |
| 4. | Measure a 1-1/4" border on top of stool. Make a light pencil line. Measure 3/4" and mark off lightly. |
| 5. | Using 5/8" brush, paint Black checks around edge of stool, using pencil lines as a guide. |
| 6. | Using graphite paper and stylus, transfer your choice of "ABC" lettering onto top of stool. |
| 7. | Using letter brush, paint "ABC" True Red. |
| 8. | Using 5/8" flat brush, shade around inside border with Burnt Umber. |
| 9. | Using 10/0 liner brush and all colors except Black and Burnt Umber, create small letters. Also make stitching lines and shade letters with Black. |
| 10. | Using 10/0 liner brush, create spirals in Ivory checks using all colors except Black and Burnt Umber. |
| 11. | Using spatter brush, spatter top of stool with Black. |
| 12. | For a protective finish, apply 1-2 coats of Satin Varnish to entire stool using 5/8" flat brush. |
