FRAME PREPARATION
Helpful hint: To get more depth in the picture, use more napkin designs.

1. Separate the top printed ply from each of six napkin designs.

2. Apply Clear Coat to inside area of the frame with the 3/4” brush. Adhere one entire napkin design to wet surface (trim to fit, if necessary) and apply another layer of Clear Coat, brushing from the center to eliminate wrinkles and bubbles. Let dry.

3. From one napkin design, cut all of the bear, including the shoulders, away from the background. From a second napkin design, cut the entire head, including the hat and scarf, but not the shoulders. From a third napkin design, cut only the hat. From a fourth napkin design, cut the round nose area, and from the fifth napkin design, cut only the nose and mouth.

4. Adhere each cut-out to a piece of card stock, following instructions in Step 2. When dry, trim card stock so that none shows.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Paint the frame with Glorious Gold, using #12 shader. Let dry.

2. Use #10 shader to apply a coat of Weathered Wood; let dry.

3. With #12 shader, add a coat of Napthol Red; let dry.

FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Varnish the frame with DuraClear Satin.

2. Place small dots of silicon on the napkin that’s already adhered to the center, placing the silicon as follows: near the edge of each ear, in center of hat, on either side of head, on either side where neck meets shoulders, and near bottom of shoulder area.

3. Lay the first napkin cut-out (with the most of the bear’s features) on the silicon, being careful not to press down so there will be a gap between the layers.

4. Apply more silicon in areas the second napkin cut-out will cover; apply second napkin cut-out and continue until all cut-outs have been applied, ending with the nose and mouth cut-out.

Candle
1. Clean candle with rubbing alcohol; let dry.

2. Mix equal parts Candle Painting Medium and Uniform Blue. Apply to sides of candle with 3/4" glaze brush.

3. Cut out bear design and adhere, following preparation instructions in Step 2 for frame.

4. Add random dots of Titanium White with handle end of 1/2" brush.

5. Cut stars from napkin design and adhere randomly or paint Glorious Gold stars.
