PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
Shelf: Basecoat with Concrete Grey. Pour puddles of Concrete Grey, Wrought Iron Black and Woodland Brown on palette. Dip brush into each color and lightly blend color while brushing onto surface to create streaked weathered wood effect.

Witch: Basecoat terra cotta pots for witch with Wrought Iron Black. Basecoat ball knob for witch with Fern Green. Spatter pots with Sunshine Yellow. Spatter again with orange created from a mix of Sunshine Yellow and Geranium Red. Add nose and cheeks to head with a mix of Foxglove Pink and Cloud White. Add eyes and mouth with Wrought Iron Black.

Ghost: Basecoat terra cotta pot and ball knob for ghost with Cloud White. Add facial features as for witch, #3 above.

Pumpkin: Basecoat with orange created by a mix of Sunshine Yellow and Geranium Red. Add facial features with Wrought Iron Black and Sunshine Yellow.

Cat: Basecoat head and body with Wrought Iron Black. Add eyes with Fern Green, nose with Foxglove Pink and whiskers with Concrete Grey.

Spider: Basecoat bead with Wrought Iron Black. Add eyes with dots of Sunshine Yellow and Wrought Iron Black.

Birdhouse: Basecoat house with a mixture of Concrete Grey with a small amount of Woodland Brown. Basecoat craft stick with Wrought Iron Black. Add roof, base of house and hole with Wrought Iron Black. Add squiggle lines of Woodland Brown to give look of weathered wood.

Moon & Stars: Basecoat with Sunshine Yellow. Squiggle stitch outline with Wrought Iron Black. Add bat to moon with Wrought Iron Black.

Witch’s Cauldron: Basecoat cauldron and lid with Wrought Iron Black. Basecoat brew stick with Concrete Grey.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Refer to photo for placement or have fun creating a scene of your own.

Witch: Glue head onto body. Following package instructions for curly hair, drizzle glue on head and press hair into glue. Trim hair. Glue hat on top on head. Glue one small star on top of hat. Glue witch in place on shelf.

Ghost: Glue head onto body. Lay center of white netting on head of ghost and drape remaining so that it covers ghost body evenly. With needle, weave a long length of white thread through netting around neck area. Pull to gather, tighten and knot to secure. Remove needle but do not trim excess thread. Tie another knot about 2-3 inches from ghost’s neck. Insert a thumbtack and press thumbtack into back of fence to suspend ghost. Trim netting if desired.

Broom: Cut a small amount of bristles, approx. 4” in length, from a broom in your home. Hold broom bristles around end of dowel stick and secure by tightly twisting and overlapping rubber band. Trim bristles. Glue broom to fence.

Birdhouse: Glue house to top of craft stick. Glue craft stick to back of fence.

Accessories: Glue cauldron and lid in place. Fill cauldron with angel hair pulling up a wisp of “steam.” Insert brew’s stirring stick. Glue pumpkin, cat, stars, moon and ivy in place. Pull a small amount of polyester fiberfill and drape at top of fence in front of moon.

Spider: Thread small lengths of black wire for spider legs through bead. Bend wires to joint the legs. Glue spider in place. Wrap spider and cat with angel hair “spider web”.
