        Instructions
     
    Seal rake with 50/50 mix of Oak Gel Stain and Wood Sealer. Wipe off excess with soft cloth. Seal rest of wood using Wood Sealer. Sand lightly when dry. All pieces are painted and finished on both sides except muzzle. Trace main pattern lines only. Details will be traced after basecoating.

    Painting Instructions
    1. Paint base Toffee. When dry, dampen base and stipple* Cashmere Beige. Let dry, then stipple Sable Brown.

    2. Paint bucket Grey Sky. Let dry, dampen bucket and stipple Slate Grey. Shade above and below each stripe with Neutral Grey. Paint stripes Neutral Grey.

    3. Paint overalls French Grey/Blue. When dry, stencil stripes Lt. French blue. When dry, shade folds and center dividing line of cuffs with French Grey/Blue. Shade above cuffs with Uniform Blue.

    4. Bunny’s head, neck, muzzle, hands, arms and feet are Lt Buttermilk. Nose is Spice Pink. Wash* inner ears with Spice Pink, then shade both sides with straight Spice Pink. Shade bottom of nose with Antique Rose, highlight with a drybrush* of Lt. Buttermilk, then a little straight paint in the middle. Shade above ears, around muzzle, under chin, bottom of hands, around feet and toes with Grey Sky. Dot eyes with brush handle dipped in Black. When Black dots are dry, trace on the lid line and paint over top of eye with several coats of Lt. Buttermilk. Highlight eye with small dot of Lt. Buttermilk and then with Black. Using Liner brush and thinned Black, paint the line dividing eye and eyelid and add eyelashes. With Pigma Pen, lightly outline top of eyelids, paint eyebrows, then outline ears, face, arms, hands and feet with a dot-dash line.

    5. Paint sign Lt. Buttermilk. With #2 Flat and tomato Red, make two rows of checks around edges of sign. Shade with the same color on inside edge of border, then use it to base edges, back of sign and dowel. With Pigma Pen, outline letters and make dot-dash line around sign. Use stylus and Black to dot letters.

    6. Carrots: Basecoat Tangelo Orange, paint details with Georgia Clay. Tomatoes: Basecoat Tomato Red, shade outer edge Napa Red. Base tops Hauser Dk. Green. Corn: Base stalks Antique Green, shade with Plantation Pine. Corn is Antique Gold. Dot kernels with stylus and Moon Yellow, highlight with White. Yellow Squash: Basecoat Cadmium Yellow. Stripe with Moon Yellow. Zucchini: Basecoat Bright Green. With Plantation Pine, paint edges, sideload to stripe, then shade across top with a wide float of the same color. Peas: Basecoat pod Hauser Med. Green, shade with Hauser Dk. Green. Dot peas with brush handle and Hauser Lt. Green, highlight with mix of Hauser Lt. Green and White. Radish: Basecoat top with White, bottom with Burgundy wine.

    Finishing Instructions
    Sand edges of bunny and vegetables. Use wood glue to attach dowels to rake. Glue vegetables together with raffia, tie to rungs of rake. Hot glue vegetables and raffia to bucket. Attach bunny to base with wood glue, using 1/4” dowel to secure it. Glue rake to front of bunny and hands to front of rake. Glue bucket to base. Glue small pieces of raffia to holes around sign, then glue sign to dowel and dowel to base. Cut six pieces of white florist wire into 3” long whiskers, wrap around dowel to curl, then stretch out. Glue onto face with E-6000 glue. Spray piece with Matte Spray Sealer.
